A Couple of Forevers :: Maryland Wedding Photography

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of capturing our Maryland couple as they said “I do!”  It was such a beautiful, drama-free, overflowing-with-love kind of wedding!  Congratulations Carlos and Kimberly!  I am wishing you both “a couple of forevers” and ever and ever!!!!!  Below are select photos from this wedding.  In addition, a video slideshow with music can be seen here.

If you like what you see, feel free to leave your comments!!!!

Enjoy!

My Bro-hem is Officially Married!

As much as I love photographing weddings, I had no desire to photograph my brother’s!  I wanted to be a guest and do those things that guests do, like take your time eating the dinner, dance the night away, sing out loud to my favorite tracks, and wear a cute dress with some bad heels!  I did just that a few weeks ago at my brother’s wedding.  So as a twist to the norm, I am actually in some of the images below, and hey I did not capture everything.  In fact, I did not even capture much!  But for those few moments I pulled that Nikon strap over my head, here is what I captured or asked someone else to capture (for the two images I am in).

South Florida Love…

I had the opportunity earlier this month to capture one of my cousin’s weddings in South Florida.  This was the first wedding in a long time that I planned to attend and dress for as a wedding guest… but I still was able to do what I needed to do to capture these images with the wedges on!  Anyway, see select images from this beautiful wedding are posted below.

The Town Criers

This is one of my favorite images thus far from the Pettiford wedding (I still have not seen every image though – that’s what I am working on now)… Anyway, before last May, I don’t think I had heard of this role of the “Town Crier” at a wedding (not sure if it’s an East Coast thing), but I have now seen it 3 or 4 times, and this was by far the cutest way I’d seen it done. As the girls skipped down the aisle proclaiming, “The bride’s coming! The Bride’s coming!” their outfits became part of that cry and excitement. In my granddad’s words, “Beautiful.”

Tying the Knot :: The Pettifords (Sneak Peek)

Last night, I had the opportunity of photographing a beautiful garden wedding at the Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, DE.  More to come soon!

By the way, this wedding was planned/coordinated by a former client (maybe you remember seeing photos of her day last year), An Event Just for You by Ki.  From the bride to the groom to the wedding party and every detail, this was an event to remember!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Pettiford!
