Now that I am back in Texas, I now have the opportunity to celebrate birthdays with my little cousins! Here are images from Noah’s 6th birthday.
The longer I live away from it, the more I grow fonder of that GREAT STATE of TEXAS! I have all of this pride because everything is better in TEXAS!!! The food, the parking, the housing, the weather, the people, the schools, the teams – everything is better in Texas! For my Spring Break this year, I ventured back to my hometown of SA, TX and spent time with family and friends. Here are some of the my favorite images from this trip.
Today, my class and I went on a field trip to Mount Vernon. Interestingly enough, last year when we studied the Civil War and the Civil Rights Movement, I had wanted to take a trip to Mount Vernon, but that was not a reality for us. This year, we were able to go there for free, and I have many of my same students from last year. Anyway, here are are some of the images that I captured today, mostly with my fisheye lens.
I had the opportunity recently to capture a beautiful Delaware family in a portrait session. Even though I teach children, photographing them is always so unpredictable… Well, I have seen one thing that makes all children smile and laugh and light up… and that is sugar – or for the new school folks, candy!!!! See select images from this session below.
