Yesterday I attended a friend’s wedding ceremony in Fort Washington, MD.  Like most ceremonies, this was a beautiful affair with the lovely white gown, beautiful bridesmaids, adorable flowergirl, stately looking groomsmen and groom, handsome ringbearer, and guests wearing some of their best ensembles.  But what set this ceremony apart from the majority of weddings that I have attended was the beauty of their purity.  You see, this couple did not exchange their first kiss until the Pastor said, “You may now kiss your bride.”  Wow!  In our culture of instant gratification, this seems just about impossible for a lot of people, but I guess that’s why they say, “…with man it’s impossible, but with God, all things are possible.” Anyway, I was inspired by this couple and their journey, and I wish them God’s very best as the continue in their newly intertwined lives!
