The Family Portrait

Every year, Dad likes to send out Christmas cards with a picture of the entire family.  Well, when I told him I’d be in town for a couple of projects in November, he put in his request for the family portrait. I was pleased at how few takes it took to get to this portrait with the timer and my mad dash around objects in the room!

Taming the Mane!

I have been natural for years now, but still coming up with a hairstyle that can be easily managed throughout the week is a challenge!  One of my favorite no-fuss styles is doing a two-strand twist set.  It stays fresh for about a week, and at the end of the week, I let the twists out gradually.  Some days one of the best solutions is to go to the salon… they can do things there much quicker than I do things at home on my own…

Anyway, I managed to take the following images of myself after church over the span of 3 weeks…  These self-portraits show the versatility of being au naturale!
