Spending time in the GREAT STATE!

The longer I live away from it, the more I grow fonder of that GREAT STATE of TEXAS!  I have all of this pride because everything is better in TEXAS!!!  The food, the parking, the housing, the weather, the people, the schools, the teams – everything is better in Texas!  For my Spring Break this year, I ventured back to my hometown of SA, TX and spent time with family and friends.  Here are some of the my favorite images from this trip.

2013 Thanksgiving Moments

Sometimes I get side-tracked from posting photos that I have every intention of doing in a timely manner, and these Thanksgiving images fall into that category.  It was such a blessing this year to spend Thanksgiving in town as opposed to traveling out of town.  Here are select family moments from Thanksgiving.

Wreaths by my Aunt Sandra

I come from a very talented family.  When I was younger, my mom used to make my clothes.  One of my Aunties made another Auntie’s wedding dress.  My dad is very gifted with wood, and some of the furniture around their house is the fruit of his labor.  One of my Uncles is an amazing artist, and he passed these skills down to his son.  I have a cousin, who is a phenomenal rapper and unpaid comedian :).  And now another Auntie of mine is showing off her talents as she creates beautiful Christmas wreaths.  See images from 2 of her wreaths below.
