My Bro-hem is Officially Married!

As much as I love photographing weddings, I had no desire to photograph my brother’s!  I wanted to be a guest and do those things that guests do, like take your time eating the dinner, dance the night away, sing out loud to my favorite tracks, and wear a cute dress with some bad heels!  I did just that a few weeks ago at my brother’s wedding.  So as a twist to the norm, I am actually in some of the images below, and hey I did not capture everything.  In fact, I did not even capture much!  But for those few moments I pulled that Nikon strap over my head, here is what I captured or asked someone else to capture (for the two images I am in).

South Florida Love…

I had the opportunity earlier this month to capture one of my cousin’s weddings in South Florida.  This was the first wedding in a long time that I planned to attend and dress for as a wedding guest… but I still was able to do what I needed to do to capture these images with the wedges on!  Anyway, see select images from this beautiful wedding are posted below.

It’s a Family Reunion

A few weeks ago my family met in Macon, GA for a family reunion.  We started with a Meet-and-Greet, followed by a prayer service and picnic.  We ended the weekend with a church service, which was definitely spirit filled and spirit led.

Tying the Knot :: The Pettifords (Sneak Peek)

Last night, I had the opportunity of photographing a beautiful garden wedding at the Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, DE.  More to come soon!

By the way, this wedding was planned/coordinated by a former client (maybe you remember seeing photos of her day last year), An Event Just for You by Ki.  From the bride to the groom to the wedding party and every detail, this was an event to remember!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Pettiford!

It’s a Family Reunion :: Sneak Peek

This past weekend, we traveled to Macon, GA by car… Enough said, right?  It was a long trip… but God brought us to and from safely and in our right minds 🙂

Why were we going to Macon, you ask?  Well, we had a family reunion to attend, and what a time it was.  Here is the group photo that I took at the culmination picnic, and more photos will follow.
